Topline Aberdeen Cattle
Surpriseline is named for the lineage of Kobblevale Surprise. She is known for her tremendous structure and prepotency. She is the heart of Topline Aberdeen Cattle Company’s breeding program. They’ve built our program around daughters and grand daughters of this line. Their line has proven themselves in the show ring, as breeding stock and in commercial operations.
Surprise is a large frame size cow within the Aberdeen breed which makes her ideal for both the commercial and seed stock markets.

Effertz EZ Ranch
Effertz EZ Ranch, located north of Bismarck, North Dakota, is a family-owned operation operated by Neil and Jan Effertz. The Effertzes imported the first Aberdeen heifer into the United States in 1996 and subsequently made five trips to Australia, bringing additional Fullblood Aberdeen bulls, females, embryos and semen into the American program.
Today, their breeding program has been built around strategic matings designed to provide genetic diversity, quality and efficiency.
The Effertzes have played a significant role in the development and promotion of the American Aberdeen breed. In 2024, Jan and Neil Effertz received the American Aberdeen Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing their contributions to the breed, including importing the first Aberdeen cattle to the United States and their years of service, marketing and showing.

EZ Nitro 5N: A Young Bull With Proven Genetics Behind Him
EZ Nitro 5N comes from one of the foundational programs behind the development of American Aberdeen cattle in the United States. EZ Nitro 5N is a complete and fluid moving fullblood Aberdeen bull with style, balance and tremendous length of body. He was the Grand Champion Bull at the 2026 Iowa State Fair and the Reserve Calf Champion at the 2026 National Show.
Nitro is backed by a magnificent pedigree. His sire, EZ Hollywood 29H, was the 2021 National Champion. His mother, EZ Liza 32G, is a great, level-uddered Boxcar daughter. Nitro’s full sister, EZ Minelli 28M, was the 2026 National Reserve Grand Champion Female as well at the 2025 Iowa State Fair Grand Champion Female and Reserve Grand Champion at the 2025 Junior Nationals.
Nitro is royally bred and should breed true – his calves will be the complete package.
Tummons Cattle Company
Our Aberdeen program is built around carefully selected Fullblood females, including seven foundation cows sourced through the respected Tummons Cattle Co. and Husung Farm programs of Gallatin, Missouri.
Tummons Cattle Co. has established a nationally recognized record of producing and exhibiting champion Aberdeen cattle, while the Husung Farm program carries its own significant history within the breed. The two programs have also partnered on cattle that have competed successfully at major national shows, including the 2016 National Western Stock Show.
We believe exceptional bulls begin with exceptional females. By building our cow herd from proven programs with generations of documented show-ring success, we are laying the foundation for cattle that combine pedigree, structural quality, phenotype and performance.
